Dolby Vision not working on Onkyo Receiver

There was an old thread about this with no resolutions, so I'm recreating in case someone comes across the problem in the future.

SOLUTION:

Enable HDMI enhanced mode on the receiver https://www.onkyo.com/manual/sup/upd/hdmi_4k_onk.pdf

Issue with Dolby Atmos with some movies I have a apple tv 4k, netflix and various apple movies are working fine with ATMOS, but some movies still play in 5.1, I rented Mad Max, which had the Dolby Atmos sign on it, but its not working. Apple 4K Dolby Atmos not working with my Pioneer Elite SC85 receiver I cannot get Dolby Atmos to show as an option on my Apple TV 4K. Updated software on both devices, quick start turned on, Atmos works fine with my other devices including my blu-ray player and automatically recognizes the format. Read several forums but have not found a solution. Using 7.1.2 setup with my Pioneer Elite SC85 receiver

Hur wrong Dolby Vision iOS 14.6 Ipad os 14.6 hdr mostly wrong with Dolby vision does not work with ios 14.6 and ipados 14.6 it gets too roaring and when you pause and turn down the brightness and slow up and check, HDR comes back mes apple tv + and Disney + which is connected to the appletv app works perfectly mes netflix mes low brightness and there is light dimmer in the app
