take off mobile device management

how to take off VA mobile device management, ive tried factory data erase but it id not work, my dad bought it from one of his friends, but his "friend" failed to mention that ot was managed, so can someone help me?

Go to Settings > General > Device Management. If you do not see the option to remove the profile there, then the device was more than likely not owned by the 'friend' and he needs to contact whomever owns the device to remove the profile.
