My wife’s iPhone 12 is getting a large WiFi symbol in the middle of the screen, all apps work, but when returning the Home Screen, have this large annoying sign in center. Updated to 14.7.1 (current) and no modification or jailbreaks etc.
Restarting fixes problem, but this happened few times now and is annoying.

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Thanks, a restart does work, more like to know why am I getting it and let Apple know to find a fix not to get this any longer
