Sorting the list of favorites, other improvements in Maps for MacOS

This is just one of the features of Apple Maps that I would like to see improved. I find it strange that Apple hasn't put more effort into making Maps at least as good and handy as Google Maps. I don't use Maps solely in urban parts of Canada, but just as much or even more for wilderness areas because the satellite photos Maps uses are much higher resolution than used in Google Maps. This is easily the best feature of Apple Maps — you can see individual trees and shrubs and rocks! — so I love using it to see what's out there, but the frustration comes when using some of Maps' features like "Favorites". Whereas in Maps for iOS you can arrange the Favorites by name or date, this feature is not available on Maps for MacOS. What?!! It doesn't make sense, it's a no-brainer etc. Why Apple, why haven't you put way more time and thinking into Maps for MacOS? It could easlily (and should) be the best Maps app available from anywhere, and Google Maps would be left in the dust. Comments anyone?

You're right Eau Rouge, I should have gone straight to Feedback. Maybe I was just looking for a shoulder to cry on about my frustration at Apple not already having made Maps the best maps app around (which I know Apple could do). No rocket science needed to do that. I am consoled, however, by the resolution of Apple's satellite photos being so much better than Google's. Looking at an old campsite in Nunavut recently on Maps, I could see quite clearly the big rocks I used to hold down the guy ropes of my tent! Looking at the same location in Google maps, it's all just a big blur.

You must be Belgian with a name like Eau Rouge. You likely know that the Belgian Grand Prix is coming up in a couple of weeks and we'll all be hoping that there will be no more horrific accidents at Eau Rouge, surely the scariest corner on the Grand Prix calendar.

Anyway, thanks for encouraging me to do the Feedback thing. I'll just do a quick cut and paste of what I wrote above. Too bad there's never any feedback from the feedback. Apple is such a hugely vast company now that having a dialogue with anybody there is a thing of the distant past. A conversation can be had on the phone, sure, but the answer is always "I don't know about that." :(
