fatal error message C0000022 on MAC OS BIG SUR 11.5.2

How do I clear fatal error message C0000022 on my MAC 0S so I can install the driver for my new Canon printer? Thanks!

The printer spec sheet says it supports AirPrint is that how you are trying to print? There should be no need for a driver and Canon doesn't offer a driver download for Catalina nor Big Sur. Connect the printer to the network using Ethernet cable into your router or connect it to WiFi. Then on macOS Big Sur go to System Preferences -> Printers & Scanners and click the + button you should see the Canon PIXMA TR8620 listed.


When do you see the fatal error msg? When you are installing an old driver? How are you connecting the printer? Wifi / Ethernet / USB?
