Needle does not move in Compass App

i found why MY Compass App was frozen by viewing solutions to the same problem posed by other posters. Rutledge's suggestion (ie magnet in case) solved this problem for me! I took my case off the phone and "Voila", the compass needle spins again! Thank you all!

My iPhones gyro isn’t working Recently i realized that my gyro isn’t working. I sometimes play a game that requires gyroscope and i realized it wasn’t functioning. I tried turning the gyro on and off in-game but it didn’t work. Then i opened the Compass app and the compass was stationary but the screen orientation is working fine. I haven’t dropped the phone so i assume there isn’t any fault due to physical damage. I have an iPhone Xs. It would be really helpful to get this issue fixed.

Compass Navigation Issue Hey 👋🏻 I am having issues with getting my compass app. The app is working fine when I turned off Location. But when I turn it on, this happens: Which, it doesn’t move, shows the North wrong. I am not using a phone case that has magnet on it too.

iPhone 13 ProMax compass not working I recently upgraded to the 13 ProMax and noticed a few odd things. My alarm app includes a feature where I have to shake it to turn it off, but this just isn't working. No matter how hard I shake the phone, the alarm won't turn off. I googled possible solutions, ages came across three suggestion that there might be something wrong with my phone's gyro. I opened the compass app and found that it wasn't working. I checked the settings, but nothing seemed to work. I'm worried that something is already broken with my new phone 😕
