keyboard marks on MacBook screen

I had MacBook Air 2020 with intel processor and after 2-3 weeks of using there were keyboard marks on the screen which was annoying. It could not be seen unless screen is black or dark colored and even though I cleaned my screen with microfiber cloth ıt didn't disappear. Now I bought M1 MacBook Pro and I don't want to experience same problem again. What should I do? and also some says that this is well known issue and the reason is the design itself and there is not enough space between screen and the keyboard, is this claim fact or fiction?

A Degrading LogicBoard, Perhaps?:

If the keyboard appears lifted somehow, then your LogicBoard may be degrading. This would be hazardous. So, get this serviced, if such is the case.

A. Contacting Apple Support:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

B. Contacting an AASP:

Also, look into taking it to an AASP(Apple Authorized Service Provider) seeing if they offer service for this.

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone
