Genuine Battery Message

Opened my phone new direct from Apple 4 days ago and just yesterday got the message that Apple is unable to verify that it has a genuine battery. Since then my phone has been restarting on its own, freezing and battery indicator is red as if the battery is low, then jumps back up to almost full charge. What’s the fix?
