emails disappearing automatically without any rules

For the last month, I noticed on my iPhone (IOS 14.7.1) some email will show a 2 seconds & disappears automatically... and can't find them anymore... not in trash, spam... totally vanished

a few minutes ago I was on "iTunes" app on my phone & share a movie to my personal email @Mac.com

I opened Apple Mail on my phone & saw the new email coming & suddenly disappeared without leaving a trace

I noticed for the last month exactly same issues with other senders, no matters who is sending me an email. and again impossible to find it in trash or spam

I have no rules set

happening also on MacOS 15.2

Thank you for the information!

Do you know if you might have rules set up on iCloud.com? You can check by following the steps here in Set up rules to filter email in Mail on iCloud.com

Just in case, Change your Apple ID password. A new password would make sure that no one has access to the account.

Spoke over 2 hrs today w/ a senior tech

I sent them all sysdiagnose & logs... over 700mg

at the moment iCloud have "push" back all my email for the last year...

will monitor if still having that issue

to be moe specific...

that is happening an ALL my devices

AND directly also on icloud.com

i did a search & nothing is eveal

emails are completely gone without leaving any traces... junk... trash...

i have 0 rules set up on iCloud.com

mom not using any "Spam" filter as 3rd party

only "clean" iCloud email @mac.com who was created over 16 years ago

also don't have any other email account

only my @mac.com

We would be happy to assist you with the Mail app.

Since it is happening on two devices, this would seem to be an issue with the account itself.

Are you using iCloud Mail? If so, if you go to iCloud.com, do you see the emails there in your account?

If iCloud Mail isn't working, try the steps here.

Are you able to find the emails if you search for them? Here is how to search for emails:

Search for and view email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Search for emails in Mail on Mac
