Has anyone successfully used wireless CarPlay and hence eliminated the cable?

The manufacturer of your car provides the Wireless CarPlay feature. If your car does not allow wireless CarPlay then you will not be able to activate and use it.

I'm also interested - I have an older car and would like to replace the Blaupunkt stereo it came with and would like wireless carplay. Is there a list of head units that support wireless carplay?
