lostphone hello, i lost my iphone 6 Thursday night in NYC, looked all day using the find my phone app but due to all sky scrapers i think the location was erratic to a 2 block radius, but was not moving. I could not find my phone or wait, due to my business, and bought another iphone 11 Friday Afternoon using the same phone number. I realized later, that i had valuable information on that phone with multiple passwords to my accounts. question? I see that Apple recommends erasing information remotely on old phone. But i am afraid to do that it would erase my new phone information since we have the same Phone Number

Erasing your lost phone will not affect your new one.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen
