My Mac isn't discoverable via AirDrop

Hi. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro running Big Sur Version 11.4 Other devices cannot discover it via AirDrop. TheMacBook can see other devices, but they cannot see it. I have tried several iPhones and iPads, including recent devices (for example iPhone 11) running the latest iOS. On the MacBook, my AirDrop settings are "Allow me to be discovered by: Everyone". My firewall is off. I have tried toggling the wifi and bluetooth on and off. I have tried resetting my laptop and other devices. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

try updating your software and see if it resolves your issue
