Add music to the top of the playlist

Is there an easy way to add music, by default, to the top of a playlist? I don't want to drag a song or an entire album one by one to the top of every playlist. I want the song to automatically be added to the top of the playlist.

Newly added Apple Music tracks are first in playlists Hello Apple Music experts. I want newly added tracks to go to the top of my playlists instead of being added to the bottom of the list. In my opinion, adding songs to the top of the pile makes a playlist more dynamic, and you listen to newly discovered songs more often. Is there a way to set that up to automatically happen on Apple Music? I own a MacOS laptop and an iPhone. Thanks in advance for your assistance,

moving tracks to the top of long playlists...quickly. I have several 'running' playlists where I add newly acquired songs that I like. When I add songs to these ( or any ) playlists, I'd like Apple Music default behaviour to be to add them to the top of the list so that when I next start the list, I hear the most recently added songs first. Is there a way to accomplish this? I'm really tired of having to drag the song to a playlist, and then drag them again from the bottom all the way to the top , past the several hundred songs that already in the playlist. Or, if that is outside the realms of knowledge of the biggest tech company in the World, maybe a shortcut to moving tracks to the top quickly?

View albums, playlists, and more in Music on iPhone - Apple Support

Tap Library, then tap Playlists, Albums, Songs, TV & Movies, or Music Videos.
Tap Sort, then choose a sorting method, such as title, artist, recently added, or recently played.

I’m not trying to sort the playlists. I’m trying to sort the songs in the playlists. This is the wrong answer.
