macbook pro battery percentage in lockscreen

Good Day,

Is there any way to display the battery percentage while on the lock screen? It's already a hassle for me to monitor my charging display as the laptop has no light indicator if it is already fully charged or not. I want to monitor my charging to avoid overcharging my machine's battery. It is already tedious enough to turn on the machine and check every time the status charge of my battery so at least I want to know if there is a way to show battery percentage while on the lock screen.

At this time, there isn't a setting available that will let you set the battery percentage to be shown on the lock screen. The available options for the Dock and Menu Bar are listed here: Change Dock & Menu Bar preferences on Mac

It sounds like you want to show the battery percentage charge in the menu bar and we’re happy to help!

To show “the percentage of battery charge in the menu bar On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Dock & Menu Bar. Click Battery, then select “Show Percentage.”
