Messages: Green message, sent as text on iPhone, Delivered on Macbook

I sent a text using my iphone to another iphone user, the color is green but says "Sent as text" on my iphone, but on my macbook pro it's still green but says "Delivered". Seems like its the same question as the link i included here. So was it delivered or no? This guy says yes, but anybody certain? Anybody know for certain?
