Lost AirPods - I was visiting Denver and went to iHOP location where I lost my AirPods which is also seen on “Find My Device” location for AirPods. If someone from the restaurant or a customer who after me picked them up, how can I know the location?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you're wanting some more information on locating your missing AirPods and it looks like you came to us from a helpful support article. If this location is the last place you had you used your AirPods outside of their case, this is the location that will show until they are removed from their case again. With AirPods or AirPods Pro, you are not able to see the location in Find My while the AirPods are in their charging case.
After a certain amount of time, this location may expire and then show your AirPods as Offline. But, you will receive a notification on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch you use them if they do come back online.
