iOS 14.7.1 AirPlay problems

Hi, since i downloaded the new update 14.7.1 i have a really unstable AirPlay to my receiver/speaker.

Does anywone has this problem also?

Hi, since a few years i listen spotify from my iPhone XR to my receiver by AirPlay. Since the last update the connection between my iPhone and the receiver is sometimes suddenly disconected. The iPhones shows in the display ‘Can’t connect to the receiver’.

I have to make a new connection by hand then. Sometimes that moment it works and sometimes it takes a little longer to get a new connection. Never Bedford i have had this problem. Since the last iOS update this happens.

Thanks for explaining what's happening a bit more.

Have you tried restarting both devices? If not, go ahead and do this first. It can help fix many issues.

Also, try to see if this happens with any other devices and let us know if it does.

Hi, i have restarted both the receiver and my iPhone already for many times. I even restarted my router a few times. And still sometimes the connection fails.

At the moment i don’t have any other devices to try with. I only have my receiver and my iPhone 😕

Hi, i have now conected my iPhone by Bluetooth with my receiver now. A wired connection is not possible with my system. Everything is wireless.

Now i am playing Spotify by Bluetooth. Because it is happening sometimes, i’ll have to wait and see what’s happening now.

Hi, i did connect my iPhone to my receiver with Bluetooth yesterday evening for two hours straight and a few hours in the morning now and everything was perfect. No problems with the connection.

Hi, yes that’s fine, but still the problem with the AirPlay from my iPhone is there and that’s not great, haha 😕

So as I asked. Is this a problem from the update 14.7.1?? Because I see that more people have the same issue.

Is this problem gonna be solved by Apple?

Since I upgraded my Iphone X to IOS 14.7.1, I have continuously had problems with Airplay devices that disappears from my network. That includes AppleTV, Airport Express and Sonos. Spending hours of network settings was a waste of time.

But since I now upgraded to IOS 14.8, all my devices suddenly came to live on my Iphone, and I have a happy home again.

Nothing is mentioned about this in Apple Support Forums - Bad Apple!!
