Streaming From Windows PC to AppleTV (3rd Generation)

Hi Guys,

I have an old MacBook running Lion (10.7.5) that's still in good condition. It does not give me any problems, but since many people have said that Lion is not safe for the Internet, I have been using it to stream media to my Apple TV3.2 (A1469 running software version 7.6.2 (8144)) up until I updated the AppleTV3 software a few weeks ago. I used the fantastic software AirParrot to stream, it can also mirror your device's screen and turn your TV into a secondary display for your computer, and you can stream by media or by application.

Ever since I updated the software of my Apple TV3, I can no longer stream by application with AirParrot (stream by media is still ok.) The screen on my TV will just go black and there's no audio either. Anyone in a similar situation or have a similar problem? Did Apple block streaming third-party apps or something?

Any thought / advice would be greatly appreciated.
