I'm trying to update my mid-2011 iMac.

I'm getting this message from the Apple Store. "This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS." Any alternatives?

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw the existing installer away, and download another copy.
