No need to create a shortcut. I recommend using the Do Not Disturb feature when on a presentation with your iPad:

Turn on Do Not Disturb

Ask Siri. Say something like: “Turn on Do Not Disturb.” Learn how to ask Siri.

  1. You can also open Control Center, then tap  to turn on Do Not Disturb.
  2. When Do Not Disturb is on,  appears in the status bar.
  3. To choose an ending time for Do Not Disturb, touch and hold  in Control Center, then choose an option, such as “For 1 hour” or “Until the end of this event.”
  4. You can also tap Schedule, turn on Scheduled, then set beginning and ending times.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are saying. I know that you want notifications to not show up. That is what I provided you with. There is no setting for Never. When you turn on Do Not Disturb, below it there is a setting for when you want it silenced. You have it set to While iPad is locked. When you set it for Always, then notifications are always off when Do Not Disturb is on, whether the iPad is locked or not. You can use Siri to turn DND on or off.

I see what happened. Yes do not disturb has silence for always. I was talking about the notifications settings—-show previews—which does have an option for “never”. So what I did do is create a shortcut while I’m in a meeting to schedule do not disturb and hopefully it’ll trigger it off while iPad is unlocked. Appreciate the help.
