iMessage and FaceTime on too many devices

I just got a new MacBook Pro 13", and because I was sharing my Apple ID (without the family sharing) I'm getting my family members personal text messages. Is there a way to uncheck them for where I'm "reachable at" without restricting their use of the Apple ID? For some reason my laptop isn't allowing me to do this, when I used to be able to before. Thanks in advance.

You would have to agree who can use certain Reachable At addresses and then both of you would have to go to Messages/Preferences/Accounts and uncheck the ones you aren't using.

Apple IDs aren't meant to be shared. You should each have your own Apple ID to prevent problems like this.
