just got this iPhone 5s and it won’t let me set a voice mail password keeps telling me to try again later. I need to check my voice mail messages

VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) is a Carrier Specific feature. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
