Iphone Restore chat from iCloud stuck at 99% in the same phone.

So I accidentally uninstalled whatsapp from my phone. On re installing it asked me whether I want to restore chat history I obviously tapped on restore but it takes forever, yes I tried switching off switching on and I also turned Cloud drive off and on. The most important point to note is that restoration is for the same phone where whatsapp originally was.

iCloud is not recovering WhatsApp backup. Hi, I’ve try to recover whAtsapp in my old phone (my new one broke) and for some reason it keeps say “couldn’t restore chat history” 1- my phone storage in empty 2- the phone software is updated 3- I cloud has more than 150 gb free space, 4- iCloud is the storage model that I choose for whatsapp please help nothing works and I need the WhatsApp app ASAP. shay

Whatsapp backup My whatsapp backup doesn't want to set back to my iPhone. It says: 'restore chat history failed'. I updated my iPhone and have more then enough storage on my iPhone + iCloud. What to do?
