Back popping off of Apple Watch.

I reviewed the threads and it seems like this was a problem in the past that apple acknowledged as a workmanship issue Has anyone experienced this recently? I went to charge my watch (4) two weeks ago and when I woke in the morning the back stayed on the charger. Has been a really frustrating situation dealing with Apple Support. First they couldn’t do anything and wanted me to pay $349. Then they told me the back likely popped off due to battery swelling and apple would repair that physical damage. Now they’re saying there’s physical damage with the back off. So they won’t even look at the battery. Even if it was under warranty it would be voided. Pay $349. This watch is 2 years old and is only used for daily wear. I have never swam or showered with it. Such a shame and sad that they are not in touch with the needs of customers. Literally all I want is the back put back on. Nothing else. They clearly don’t value this product like others and they have calculated that it would be a waste of time repairing issues that are due to their poor design. This was reported by over 1000 people so clearly it’s not an isolated incident. The back of a watch should never come off. Even a $20 timex doesn’t do that. Guess I’m gonna read reviews on other smart watches

Are you a user who has has this problem? My question was if other users had the issue then a detailing of the encounters with Apple.

If you are not a user with the problem, why reply? I found this forum very helpful when I searched if this problem happened to others but it was back in 2015 hence the updated post. This information is useful to other users to know that this problem is still a problem. If you disagree, ignore the post…
