I have lost my iPhone how can I get connected to it and find it as the find me app on it is switched off on it

I can’t find my iPhone as the find me app is off on it

There is no way to locate it if Find My wasn't enabled on it before it was lost but the following has other information that may help: If Find My iPhone or Find My iPad isn't enabled on your missing device - Apple Support
