Verizon’s verification process is to text the telephone number of the device … all good except iPads never receive the text sent to the number associated with the iPad. Is there an app or way for these devices to receive and view these verification texts?

Ask Verizon for a different way to access the code, as an ipad isn't like a phone that you can receive text message.
Spent nearly 6 hours today working with Verizon on this. Apparently they have very few customers who only have cellular connectivity without phone/voice so it never entered their minds. Strange, as most other web sites, including the government, offer the user verification choices. Makes you wonder about Verizon's technical prowess, doesn't it?
