iPhone xs may not depict colors accurately

I’ve got an iPhone Xs and i saw it couldn’t show a “complete” white. I understood a difference only when i put it near by my iPad Air 2 which i saw that the ipad had a more “whitish” white while the iphone was more like yellow(like i was using true tone). Is there something wrong with my phone or is it just the oled screen?

Hi AndreasKaram,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with your screen not being as bright, or "white" as you expect it to be. It could be the background image. You could try changing that and see if it makes a difference. It might also be because of a screen protector, if you are using one. You should definitely check your Settings. Other than True Tone, there is Night Shift. Check out Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for details.

Cheers!
