PRAM Reset Question...
Can the PRAM on newer Macs only be reset once per reboot/startup?
I used to hold down "command-option-p-r" for 3 or 4 startup chimes because I once read years ago that was the best way to get a good "zap" and make sure it totally cleared the PRAM. I had done that on many Macs for many years.
But just went to do it on my new 27-inch 2020 iMac and it only did it one time, then after the second startup chime proceeded to boot up normally.
Thought maybe a finger had slipped off a key, so I tried it a couple more times, but got the same thing every time. It only resets once, then boots to the login screen after the second startup chime, even if I keep holding the key combo.
Is this normal on newer Macs? Or could something be amiss on my new iMac?!
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
