How can i synch text messages on iPhone 8 to my iPad Pro

How can I synch text messages from iPhone 8 with my iPad Pro. When i upgrades software on my iphone last week i was having battery issues. My son reset my iphone which helped the battery issue….but now my text messages via iPhone are not linked to my iPad Pro. Can you help me regain this function?

Settings, your name, iCloud, Messages on (green) both devices

To get SMS text messages to sync back to your iPad Pro from your iPhone, you just need to enable SMS Forwarding. See the following support article for the details on how to do so:
