Faceid not working on apps even though iPad can be unlocked by face

I have several apps using faceid on my iPhone


when I set up my new iPad the apps were successfully installed

I also set up the iPad for faceidso And I can unlock it


but the apps all failing faceid now


they and ask for passwords even though the new iPad is faceid enabled and I can unlock the iPad but not the apps example apps are Morgan Stanley fidelity etc I get a dialogue saying faceid is not available

We see that you're having some trouble with FaceID. We'd be happy to assist!


First, as this only seems to be happening within the apps, could you please check if the apps have any available updates in the App Store?


If so, please update and check if the issue persists.


If it does, please try uninstalling and reinstalling one of the impacted apps to see if the issue continues. This will help give a better sense of what's causing this issue.
