What to Do:

If you are not using these devices for the time, then power off your MBP, and unplug them. Then, boot it up, putting it to sleep, if desired.

Yes. You can leave Bluetooth on. However, for privacy purposes, it's best to turn it off, when not needed. That way, no one can see your device in their Bluetooth list. So, leaving it on or off is fine - but off is what I prefer.
