iDVD Project

I now have the new 24"iMac my IDVD projects transferred over but of course I can't view them anymore. What can I do? The file extension is .dvdproj

iDVD will not run on your new M1 iMac as it's a 32 bit app. In order to run iDVD you'll need a Mac running High Sierra or earlier.


You would be best served finding a new, supported modern video DVD authoring application and recreating your projected in that. Go to the App Store and search for "video DVD". You'll find a number of potential candidates. Most offer demo version (which put a watermark on the finished presentation) which is removed in the purchased version.
