Text message on Apple Watch to iphone

I accidentally deleted the entire text history I had with a contact on my iphone.

But, I notice the history is still contained on my Apple Watch.

Is there a way to move, update, backup, transfer the data for the text for a contact on my Apple Watch, back to the iPhone?

Apple Watch 6 and iPhone 12 ver 14.6.

Hi akaGoodCatch,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with wanting to restore a text message thread you only have on your Apple Watch. In order to be able to restore this conversation on to your phone, you would need to restore it from a backup from a date in which you had not yet deleted that conversation.

Hi akaGoodCatch,

Thank you for your follow up. Backups are located either in iCloud or on a computer. If you have a backup from a date before you deleted that conversation you are wanting to restore, you can restore the entire backup and that would restore all conversations from that date. There is not a way for you to find one specific text message in a backup. You only have the option of restoring an entire backup, with entire message threads in that backup. This would also replace all data that is currently on your iPhone.

Have a nice day!
