MacBook Pro password blocked
My MacBook Pro (Intel) is blocked after too many password attempts following changing the password and misremembering it. I have done the following:
Reset using Apple ID > Recovery Assistant > Sign in with Apple ID which then goes to "Recovering file vault key" resulting in "No users on this volume to recover"
I have gone through https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202860 without success.
Is there a way back to controlling this machine? Thanks
