iPod bypassing volume of device connected by Bluetooth

Hello,

My iPod has all of a sudden started to override the volume settings on my Wireless Speaker (Cambridge Yoyo). Every time I turn the voume up or down on my Yoyo's remote, the volume automatically goes back to the volume set on my iPod. I'd like my Yoyo's remote control to determine my volume settings, as it was doing before.

Your assistance would be appreciated.
