Apple TV 4k 2021 Stuttering Video and Audio

Hi - I have problems with APTV that the video and audio quality become stuttering after around 15 mins and sometime they drop completely or with pop noise. I have these issues only with the Apple TV App. Netflix, Youtuube and Disney+ run without a glitch.

My system (They both have the same issues):

Apple TV4K (2021)>JBL9.1 (ARC)>LG2018; and
Apple TV4K (2021)>LG2018>JBL9.1,

(All HDMI cables are certified Belkin ultra high speed cable and I hardwired APTV with CAT8 Ethernet Cable with speed 600/600 mbps).

I have tried all these setting in APTV:

Dolby Vision 4k 60Hz and 4k 60 Hz SDR
Match content and frame rate on and off.

Should be grateful if your guys have any idea?

These problems are really annoying and degrading my experience.

This sounds like a classic poor network connection issue. Please try the following:

1. Unplug your modem from its power source and Restart Modem.

2. Unplug your router from its power source and Restart router.

3. Unplug Apple TV from Power for 2-3 minutes – re-plug in and retest.

I get almost 500mbps wifi speeds to my Apple TV and we have been experiencing super low resolution with anything that’s streamed from the Apple servers. Any movie played through iTunes is super low resolution, like 480 quality and stuttering and audio glitching. All other streaming services like Disney+, HBO Max, and Netflix stream perfect HD without a hitch. I have escalated this to Apple tech support who was supposed to be forwarding it to their engineers for review. Of course basic tech support claims there is nothing wrong on Apple’s side. Yeah…right.

As mentioned it is likely a networking issue on your side. In order to get a strong signals streaming requires a network strength (this is bandwidth) a minimum of 25 mbs to be effective. If you are using Wi-Fi to connect please use a network strength app on you laptop, smartphone etc. where the Apple TV is located. Please note I am not referring to the speed I am referring to the strength of the signal where the Apple TV 4K is located.

Hi - Super yhanks for this.

I tried the unplugging everything before and have tried again. They got good quality for 10-15 mins and went bad again. I think it does not make sense to keep unplugging everthing every 10-15 mins.

In addition, if it was poor connection, I am curious why Netflix, Youtube and D+ never have a glitch.

Let’s me know if you have any othet alternatives to address this problem sustainably.
