how to disable hotspot with parental controls

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to disable the hotspot feature on an iPhone 8 iOS 14.7.1 through screen time parental controls? I turned it off on the Childs phone and have the do not allow changes to cellular in screen time. but it can still be turned on.

I wished there was an answer here. Apple please allow us to switch off settings so our kids can’t circumvent our controls. My child goes and changes the time of his actual phone to get around my downtime controls. At night it’s no problem because I take the phone but when he’s at school he just changes the time.
Apple—please use me as a focus group for parental controls. Many parents need the ability to read messages, shut off their access to settings control, see deleted pics and deleted items…all things other companies “say” they have for Android but not iPhone. We need your help

Ask your carrier to turn off that feature on the child's phone. They should be able to block it for you.

Thanks for the reply MamaLaura41. I did find that out and just told my kid. If he keeps using the hotspot. The phone is gone… LOL.

and regarding the reading of messages. You can create a profile in your Mac. If you have one. With their iPhone profile and have them sync. Messages wont delete by deleting in only one device. They have to be deleted manually on each device.
