Your welcome!
When you apply, Goldman Sachs does what’s known as a soft pull. They use just very basic information to determine if you meet their approval criteria and determine your credit limit and APR. This is then presented to you as your offer. Up to this point nothing has been reported to the credit agencies.
If the applicant is denied because of information contained in the soft pull that’s the end of the story (at least until the next application). All that was done is soft pull and no report, no score drop.
If the applicant accepts the offer, a hard pull is done and Goldman Sachs obtains more of your credit history etc. The hard pull is also used as a baseline to help you with future Credit Limit Increases and possibly lowering your APR after several years.
Here are two support articles on how your application was evaluated and how to request a Credit Limit Increase in 4 to 6 months.

Hi, did you receive an offer for the Apple Card or not?
yes I did, then I applied, was approved. Shortly, after I applied and approved, I received notice from my lender Capital One my credit score dropped 15 points.
No this is not resolved.
Ok,I can understand that, but was does it say applying will not affect your credit score ???
Thank you.
Hi, this is normal when you apply for the card. You opened a new account (Apple Card account) and that reduced your score. Virtually all banks and credit card issuers do what is called a hard pull of your credit report when applying for any loan or credit with a bank etc.
The hard pull is called an inquiry and will also lower your score. Your score will go up each month as the card reports to the three major credit reporting agencies, TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. Your score will go higher each month as you use the card and pay of the balance every month. In 6 to 12 months you score may go up 25 to 50 points as you use all your credit accounts responsibly.
I hope this helps.
