Dead phone overnight

I plugged my phone in last night before I went to bed and this morning when I woke up it is completely dead and will not charge and will not turn on…

If it does not turn on then how do you know that is not charged? Is it possible that it is charged but just does not turn on?

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

when I went to bed it was 60% and it was plugged in. in the morning it would not turn on. I tried what you said to do but it did not work. thanks anyway,
