My airpods wont give the sound for facetime, it works on music and even the call sound, but when it connects to the phone the sound just comes from the mac

We see you're having issues getting audio to come through your AirPods while on FaceTime.
To clarify, are you attempting to use FaceTime on your Mac or your iPhone? We'd recommend starting the FaceTime call on the device you intend to use for the conversation.
If you are starting the call from your Mac, but the AirPods won't play audio, check the Bluetooth menu on the Mac to ensure the AirPods are connected to your Mac, and not another device.
