"AirPods Pro getting disconnected for FaceTime: it automatically switches to iPhone’s speaker and mic and each time at least once I have to switch the call back to AirPods pro manually. I guess this is a software bug which can be fixed easily. If anyone else seeing this please do let me know how to fix until we get it fix from Apple."

Four Thoughts:
A. Any Third-Party Apps:
If you have any third-party apps that you recently installed, then that my be causing this.
B. Try Force Restarting your iPhone:
Save any information that need be. Then perform the restart.

C. Try Manually Restarting your iPhone:
- Go To: Settings
- Select: General
- Scroll to: the Very Bottom
- Select: Shut Down
- Slide Finger: to the Right
- Wait: 30 Seconds
- Power One: the iPhone
- Try this Once More
D. Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: Use the Apple Feedback forums to report this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but if this is a known bug, then the more feedback Apple receives on it, then the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.
