How to mute Google Meets in Safari

I couldn't reply to the original question (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252573522) but I found a workaround!

Open 'System Preferences' > 'Keyboard' > 'Shortcuts'

Click the little '+' icon, select 'Safari' as the app.

It will ask you for a shortcut (set whatever you like, I used cmd + shift + m) and a title menu.

The title menu is locale dependent, meaning that it will be different for different languages. To find out the correct phrase for your install, open a tab with audio (can be a youtube video). Right click the like megaphone icon and note down the option to mute the tab.

In english, it would be 'Mute This Tab' (without the single quotes).

Now, we need a way to unmute it as well.

Click the little '+' icon, select 'Safari' as the app.

For the shortcut, use the same one as before.

For the title, same process as above but now for the unmute functionality.

In english, I *think* it would be 'Unmute This Tab'

Done! Now you can use your shortcut to mute/unmute google meets :)
