Try this: press shift + option and click the Bluetooth icon in the toolbar. Then click the Reset Bluetooth module.
Have you tried to restart your Mac after resetting the Bluetooth module?
Unfortunately did not help to me. MBA 2020, 11.5.2. BT simply stopped working. Unable to switch it on.
