I cannot select green/blue screen in imovie.

I had to update my imovie on a school computer but now I cannot select the green/blue screen option when trying to remove the green screen.

Sometimes updates can cause preferences to change or become corrupted, that in turn can cause iMovie to misbehave. Try deleting preferences and see if that cures it. To delete preferences, open iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects.  Deleting preferences is a safe procedure that will not cause data loss or disruption to your project.

To cover the bases, make sure that you have selected the green screen clip in the upper timeline before trying to remove the green screen.
