IS THERE AN ADAPTOR TO CONNECT A USB-C LIGHTENING CABLE TO MY IMAC THAT DOES NOT HAVE A USB-C PORT?
Why not just use a USB-A lightning cable?

If this is the new 24" iMac I got one of these:

Which will let me plug in about *anything*.
Kiltedtim thanks for your reply. Let me explain my problem correctly. I purchased a new Mouse that came with a usb c lightening cable to connect to my iMac. however I can't find a usb-c port on my I mac. Solution? Thanks. BrianKatelyn
