unknown error

I had to change passwords for apple ID. The new pswd works for music purchases, but when I log into the computer, I get a message that requires me to enter the new pswd. When I do that, I get the message that "an unknown error has occurred. I cannot go beyond that and cannot get to my Icloud account.

What do I do?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

We see that you're receiving an unknown error when you attempt to change your iCloud password, and we'd like to help!


Besides the 'unknown error', do you also see any error number or letters? Have you tried changing the password through different methods? Change your Apple ID password
