notifications

is there a away to only get notifications on one of my apple devices?

I am using an iPhone and MacBook and the same notifications pop up on both devices.

I'd prefer if the notifications only pop up on my Mac when I'm using my Mac, and otherwise only pop up on my iPhone when my Mac is on sleep mode.

its just kind of annoying t see my phone vibrate when receiving the same notifications I've received on my Mac.
