Delayed receipt of voicemails

When someone leaves me a voicemail, my phone alerts me and makes it available a week later.

If a voicemail is sent on 9/3, the iPhone shows no new voicemails and no voicemail alerts. On 9/10, the phone alerts me that I have a new voicemail and lists the new voicemail which is dated 9/3. How can I make the voicemails show when I receive them?

Delayed voicemail notices Today I noticed that I had 2 new voicemails. When I checked them, they were from 2 weeks ago. I don't get many voicemails and I look at my phone everyday, so it's not like they were there and I just didn't notice them until today. This is not the first time this has happened - a voicemail does not show up on my phone until 2 or 3 weeks after the caller left it. Anybody know why this happens and what I can do about it?

why am I getting voicemails 2-3 days after the voicemail was received when I get a call and a voicemail is left I won't get the voicemail right away ill get it a few days later

iPhone voicemail issue When someone leaves a voicemail on my iPhone 11, I can see that I have received a call because the "recents" icon at the bottom of the screen indicates a new call. But the nearby voicemail display does not show that the caller has left a message. A few hours later, typically when I am using the phone for another call, the voicemail indicator will light up and I will then be able to access the missing voicemail. But it is very frustrating not to be able to access the voicemail in a timely fashion. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I would try contacting your carrier they handle all things concerning voicemails

Ok I will call them later, in the meantime is there any other possibility? Like refreshing some cache or something?
