Migration of partitions on iMac

I have a mid 2009 intel iMac running Catalina. I have two partitions; one running mac os and the other running Windows 10. I want to buy an M1 iMac and am wondering if the Migration Assistant will migrate both partitions to the new mac or just the mac os partition?

Migration Assistant only migrate the Mac OS partition. MS Windows is not migrated. Also, please note that in order to run MS Windows on a M1 based Mac you must do so using Parallels. If you happen to use Boot Camp on the old Mac please note there is no Boot Camp partition on M1 based iMacs that is an Intel CPU only feature.
