iPhone is not working at all

Hello, I’ve been having problems with my iPhone. I recently noticed that it is unresponsive to me. I click on the apps and the apps aren’t opening up. I tried to shut it off and force restart it but it still remains unresponsive. Siri works but refuses to open any apps. I tried to delete some apps thinking that was the case but nothing is working. And when I press on the side button, an orange dot appears. I can only look up on the Home Screen and swipe. Please let me know the steps I need to take to get this iPhone to work. Thank you.
